In 2005, Mr. Dunlavey was named by Street & Smith's Sports Business Journal as one of the "Forty under 40" most innovative and influential executives in the sports business industry. As President of CENTERS, Mr. Dunlavey has co-directed the development of the company's practice since its founding in 1998. He specializes in the analysis and development of recreation and sports facilities. He has lectured and written on the market analysis, financial planning, and programming of such facilities, as well as the maximization of their business strategies through innovative management and marketing techniques.

As president of Brailsford & Dunlavey, Mr. Dunlavey has co-directed the development of the firm’s practice since its founding in 1993. Throughout this time, he has led the firm’s practice in professional and college sports and assembly facilities. Mr. Dunlavey’s background reflects experience in a variety of capacities within the professional sports and building industries, from feasibility consulting to comprehensive program management. He has overseen all of the firm’s venues assignments, including Nationals Park, Great American Ballpark, Webster Bank Arena, M&T Bank Stadium, Paul Brown Stadium, and the Los Angeles Memorial Coliseum. He is a registered architect in Washington, DC, a LEED accredited professional, and a member of the Urban Land Institute. In 2005, Mr. Dunlavey was named by Street & Smith’s Sports Business Journal as one of the “Forty under 40” among the most innovative and influential executives in the sports business industry.
