Megan Krone

Assistant Director of Club Sports, Special Events, & Team Challenge
DePaul University

Serving as the Assistant Director of Club Sports, Special Events, and Team Challenge at DePaul University, Dr. Megan Krone is responsible for the administration of the club sport and team challenge programs as well as coordinating special events.  She works closely with club sport officers as they work towards team goals in a safe, learning environment and supervises club sport supervisors who ensure safety and accountability during practices and competitions.  She also facilitates special events, such as Real Life Recess, and collaborates with campus and community groups for team challenge events.

After graduating from the University of Michigan, Dr. Krone worked as Assistant Aquatics Director at the Horwich Jewish Community Center and the Aquatics Coordinator at Northeastern Illinois University.  After competing her master's degree at DePaul University, she moved on to complete her doctoral degree at the University of San Diego while working part-time as a Recreation Coordinator at the University of San Diego and then the Program Assistant for Intramural Sports and Sport Clubs at San Diego State University.
