Mike Weaver

Serving as the Assistant Director of Facilities at Cleveland State University, Mr. Weaver manages and supervises the day-to-day operations of the recreation center and is responsible for all service requests, event set-ups, checklists, and equipment maintenance. He coordinates space allocation, including internal and external reservations and rentals; conducts contract negotiations with outside users of the facility; coordinates vendor relationships located within the center; and procures the necessary equipment and supplies to maintain and clean the facility. On the personnel side, he recruits, hires, trains, schedules, and actively mentors all facility managers and recreation attendants, providing managerial and leadership expertise in facility and custodial management while creating and promoting professional development opportunities. He also develops and revises recreation center risk management manuals, and is responsible for ensuring that the center remains up to date with all current trends in facility management and equipment.
